چکیده

Real-time inspections for the large-scale solar system may take a long time to get hazard situations any failures that place in panels normal operations, where prior hazards detection is important. Reducing execution and improving system’s performance are ultimate goals of multiprocessing or multicore systems. video processing analysis from two camcorders, thermal charge-coupling devices (CCD), mounted on drone compose embedded being proposed inspection. The inspection method needs more capturing frames detecting faulty panels. can determine longitude latitude defect position information real-time. In this work, we investigate parallel image operations which reduces results show super-linear speedup real-time condition monitoring Using module Python, execute fault algorithms using streamed both cameras. experimental CCD processing, efficiently reduced with an average 3.1 times 6.3 2 processes 4 respectively.

Real-time image processing for active monitoring of wide areas

A real-time active system able to monitor wide areas by processing video sequences acquired by a pant tilt and zoom (PTZ) camera is presented. The system is able to compensate background changes due to camera motion, to detect and to maintain the gaze on objects moving in the scene. To fit the real-time constraint two speedups, representing the novelty of the proposed work, have been introduced...

Using spectral distances for speedup in hyperspectral image processing

This paper investigates the efficiency of spectral screening as a tool for speedup in hyperspectral image processing. Spectral screening is a technique for reducing the hyperspectral data to a representative subset of spectra. The subset is formed such that any two spectra in it are dissimilar and, for any spectrum in the original image cube, there is a similar spectrum in the subset. The simil...

Real-Time Image Processing

For thousands of years engineers have dreamed of building machines with vision capabilities that match their own. However most image processing algorithms are computationally intensive making real-time implementation di cult, expensive and not usually possible with microprocessor based hardware. In this project a computationally intensive image-processing algorithm is implemented, analysed, and...

Real-Time Scheduling of Linear Speedup Parallel Tasks

In this paper a problem of deterministic scheduling parallel applications in a multiprogrammed multiprocessor system is considered. We address the preemptive case. The number of processors used by a task can change over time. Any task can be executed with linear speedup on a number of processors not greater than some task-dependent constant. This problem can be solved by a low-order polynomial ...

Using Mac OS X for Real-Time Image Processing

With appropriate hardware, Mac OS X provides a capable platform for realtime image processing (RTIP). This paper provides an overview of available video capture hardware and presents development strategies to achieve high performance, low latency image processing. As the requirements of real-time image processing differ significantly to those for video playback or editing, different hardware an...
